This is my go-to frosting, been making it for about 15 years now. I only make 1/2 a batch which is about 6 cups.. It's smooth, creamy and great tasting. I really like that it's not too sweet. It glides onto layers and looks amazing. I'm not a decorator, have only done some basic piping and it turns out great. I color it with gel color, this has not affected the taste or consistency. It's time consuming to make but worth it.

I made half the recipe. Holy Buttercream, Batman! This is the lightest, softest, silkiest frosting. Haven't decorated or added color yet.
