Double Batch Butter Cream Frosting


  • 2 – 2IB bags powder sugar
  • 1 cup crisco
  • 16 T hot water
  • 8 tsp clear vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp salt


  1. Mix hot water and salt (disolve salt) then add crisco and vanilla. Add powder sugar slowly and mix well.

If the frosting is too thick add hot water to thin to desired consistancy. Cut the recipe in 1/2 if you have a small mixer. This frosting tastes like wedding cake frosting and is pure white as long as you use clear vanilla extract, otherwise it will be off white.
