These sound great. Going to make these for my granddaughters wedding. Approx. how many 3" cookies per batch? Also, I assume they can be frozen. Can they be frosted and then frozen? Thaks for your help.
you said 1cup? 2sticks,,, 1 cup is 4 sticks, I was wondering why these were so dry..im hoping you do mean 1 cup 4 sticks, im going to try that, they are way too dry if you only put 2 sticks in
@CarrieBear: 1 Cup is 2 Sticks as each stick is 1/2 Cup. 4 Sticks would be 2 Cups.
Anyways, I was wondering if you could use salted butter instead of unsalted?
These were perfect! They keep their shape for decorated cookies. I did use salted butter, it was all I had, and omitted the salt. Thanks for a great recipe!
