Margarita Cupcakes

These are moist and delicious lemony/limey cupcakes with tequila and triple sec. Everyone always asks for this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 package lemon cake mix
  • 1 (4 ounce) package instant lemon pudding mix
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ¾ cup frozen margarita mix (thawed)
  • 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • ½ cup gold tequila
  • 2 tbs triple sec
  • 2 tbs lime zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
     
    Combine cake mix, pudding mix, vegetable oil,
    Margarita mix, water, eggs, tequila and triple sec in a large
    mixing bowl.
     
    Beat for 2 minutes at medium speed with an electric
    mixer.
     
    Divide among cupcake pans
     
    Bake for 15-20 minutes or until inserted toothpick in
    the center comes out clean.
