Black Cherry Cheesecake Brownies

This is a recipe that I made up. I wanted a desert to take to my mother’s. I wanted to use what I already had, so this is what I came up with. It’s delicious and I thought I would share!


  • 1 box brownie mix (any brand)
  • 2tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4c. maraschino cherry juice1pkg (4 serv) jello instant cheesecake pudding
  • 1 8oz cream cheese softened to room temp
  • 1c milk
  • 1 envelope dream whip

  • 1/2c milk
  • 1/2 tsp van
  • Smuckers black cherry icecream topping (11.75oz) small jar
Prepare brownies according to package directions adding eggs and oil, use cherry juice instead of water. Bake and cool.

Blend cream cheese and pudding with milk til well blended.
In mixing bowl add 1/2c milk and vanilla with pkt of dream whip. Fold dream whip into cream cheese mixture.  Spread mixture evenly over brownies. Drop ice cream topping by tsp ful over cream cheese topping (use as much as you like) then swirl with sharp knife.  Refrigerate til ready to serve. keep refrigerated.

Are all the ingredients mixed together, or are part of them ingredients for a topping? Need instructions, please. Thanks in advance!


You make the brownies according to the box, use the cherry juice in place of the water. Bake and let cool.

Mix the pudding, milk, and cream cheese together blending well til all cream cheese is incorperated. Set aside.

In mixing bowl combine milk, vanilla and dream whip. Beat to stiff peaks.

Fold whipped topping into cream cheese mixture. Spread evenly over brownies. Drop icecream topping over cream cheese (as much as you want) and swirl in with a knife. Refrigerate til ready to serve. Keep refrigerated.
