I got this recipe from my mother-in-law, it was served for her mothers birthday,i made one the following month for my husbands birthday, everyone i know fell in love with it and its VERY kid friendly…and extremely easy to make.
Ingredients
- 1 Box White Cake Mix
- 1 Pkg Strawberry Jell-O
- Whip Cream
Instructions

Mix cake as directed on the box and bake til golden brown or tooth pick comes out clean… when done, let cool for 15 min, then refrigerate for 1 hr.
While cake is refrigerating mix up 1 pkg of Jell-O as follows: 2 cups HOT water to 1 pkg of jell-o. Let sit at room temp.. Pull out cake and stab holes all over. YES you will tear up the cake.. when done putting holes on the cake, pour jello mixture all over cake…then refrigerate. Top with Whip Cream when ready to serve. may decorate with fruit if desired.
