3D space shuttle for an 8 year old boy birthday. I was inspired by berryblondeboys cake, though I did mine a little differently. I hope he likes it!

It is a 9x13 cut in half lengthwise and stacked. Then I just carved the shape.

I made the wings and tail from 50/50 gumpaste/mmf ahead of time. I set the wings next to the cake then I covered the whole thing with fondant so it would look smooth. Then i inserted the tail.
