Spongebob Chocolate Transfer Done By My Son
This was done by my 8 year old son for a chocolate art contest. He won best in show out of a dozen entries! He made SB in parts (eyes, hat, mouth, etc) and put the parts onto the sponge part to make it look 3-D.
1St Birthday Barn Cake
This was a vanilla, chocolate, strawbery cake for a childs 1st birthday. The party was held at a "barn" with hayrides, etc for entertainment. The silo was removable for the child to make a mess with...
The Big Cheeses
This was made for my former bosses - two brothers that had birthdays within a week of each other. They had made us listen to the tape of "Who moved my cheese" so I thought this was appropriate. It was vanilla with cream cheese icing.
This cake was for a good friends sister that loves pink and makeup. It was chocolate cake with buttercream and fondant. The make-up was fondant with chocolate coins.
This was for two co-workers celebrating birthdays together. I put a chocolate "P" on one side and an "L" on the other for their initials. I took the pictures before I put the fondant butterflies on the flowers... It was a yellow cake with buttercream and fondant (what the birthday girls requested)
This was made for a friend that another friend had played a practical joke on - hanging these on his truck. This friend had requested that I make him a hot milk cake ~ which I did ~ he didn't specify what to decorate it with. I used a chocolate transfer and whipped icing with chocolate rocks. It was a hit!
Cheer Up Cake My 8 Yr Old Son Made For His Teacher.
My son made this for his teacher who had just lost her grandfather and then got hit head on in an auto accident. He helped with the fondant (Satin Ice) and used edible markers to draw the pictures. He picked out the flowers from my "collection" that I keep on hand. She loved it!
Easter bonnet cake. I made two of these. The rim was just fondant with basket weave over it. The flowers were purchased. This would also make a nice Mother's Day or shower cake.
