New Year's Eve Wedding
I made this cake for a New Year's Eve wedding. It is 14-10-6 with almost 200 royal icing flowers. I saw tons of flaws. The triple strings were pretty difficult. This was the first time I did a cake with drop strings! Please let me know what you think. It is based off a cake in one of the Wilton wedding cake books. Thanks for looking!
from what I can see it looks good. . :)
Very pretty! The detail is hard to see in the pic but, remember we are our own worst critics. I would have loved a cake like this for my wedding (also on New Years Eve-different year though).
Wohw, Verry beautyful, Can you place a larger picture. We want to see more details. :D
You did a great job! I've done this same cake and those flowers are very time consuming. It looks beautiful
I think it looks great. Nice job!
You did a wonderful job, the cake is beautiful. What was the servings on this cake?
Haleysgranny, Thanks for the compliments! The servings without the top are 116. The original Wilton design calls for an 18" fourth teir on the bottom.
