Nye Wedding Cupcakes
Another joint effort with my best friend as a wedding present for one of our friends. The cupcakes were chocolate w/ peanut butter filling, white chocolate w/ raspberry BC filling, and red velvet w/ cream cheese filling. All are iced with buttercream dream and have MMF decorations. The top cake for their anniversary is chocolate with cookies and cream filling. The bride originally planned to do these herself with her bridesmaids until we forced her to let us do it. I don't know what she was thinking!
Oh yeah, we did all the table decor ourselves and made the stand. The stand is silver cake rounds with flutes filled with ribbon curls as risers. Super easy and great for a NYE wedding.

Oh those flutes scare me. How did you secure them for safety? Beautiful set up and a lot of work.

Trust me, it was sturdy. Hot glue is the best thing ever and the flutes themselves were from Ikea and not very fragile. We tested it every which way to be sure. Carrying it through the city afterwards DH was being a brat acting like he was going to drop it on the people looking at him.
