Tiffany Box Cakes
Rush job - decorated in an hour (including bow!) for ;ast minute birthday party. Almonds have little white bows. Didn't care for the look of the almonds on the cake board. Also, I thought the bow should be flatter, but there was no time to redo. White cream cake with IMBC filling and vanilla fondant.
Your fondant is flawless. Very well done. Your rush job looks better than some that take hours!
How the heck do you get a bow like that in 1 hour? You HAVE to tell us!! Great job.
It's beautiful, and the bow looks like you painted it with luster dust! The knot is extraordinary!
How'd you get the bow to stay in just 1 hour?

I used gumpaste to make the bow and just let it air dry while I covered the cakes with fondant. By the time I was done, they were dry enough to place on the cake.
It's beautiful. I don't think I could do something like that in an hour!!

"sigh".... another impressive cake! while i agree with you about not caring too much for the almonds on the board, the cake itself is so pretty that its not a big deal . i'm impressed that you did this in one hour.
