This is the most popular way in the netherlands to put a picture on a cake we puzzle a picture out of fondant or marzipan on a marzipan coveren cake. The use of bag and tip is not very common here.
hope you enjoy and are going to try this back in the states too it realy is fun to do!
Hi, I'm just a beginner at this but I will try to give a short explanation.
Take two coloring pages and put one into a plsticbinder sheet protecter, than you take the other picture and cut the picture up in all the different pieces than you roll out the fondant one color at the time.
and cut all the pieces out after that you put the picture back together on the plastic(or directly on the cake). To put it from the plastic on the cake just roll the plastic away from underneath.
Good luck!

Wow, that is a beautiful effect. I'd love to learn more about the technique.

How did you do the eyes, mouth and other small details? Are they painted on the fondant?
All details(like eyebrows) are fondant exept the eyes(food marker),The mouth is done with marker and on top of that is a small piece of white fondant.
Hi!!!, the cake is beautiful and the idea great, because I am still using bag and tips
