Christmas Cookie Bouquet

This is the result from a Wilton Cookie Bouquet class at Michaels. Love the outcome, but goodness was it time consuming!
The cookies are covered with a poured glaze (powdered sugar, milk, vanilla) and decorated with royal icing. The base is a terracotta flower pot covered in mylar and filled with some styrafoam and beans.
Tip to coat only the top of the cookie: put your icing in a shallow dish and dunk the cookies. Make sure to scrap off some excess before you flip so it doesn't run down the side!
Very cute bouquet. What kind of icing did you use?
I love them.. what a great job you did.. ;-D
Wow, great job
Cute, cute, cute! And, I love that ribbon!
Is this the poured cookie icing? I've been trying to keep it on top, like you do the royal, but having it go all down the sides on purpose is really a nice look. Mind if I snitch it?
Great cookies
Sorry, I'm new to this picture posting business. The cookies are covered in a glaze (powdered sugar, milk, vanilla), then decorated with royal icing so they would be easier to transport.
