I made this cake for my stepson's 4th birthday. This cake combines all his favorite things: Racing cars, colors green and blue which he loves, number 4 which of course is his favorite number since he is turning 4, and chocolate! Inside there are two layers. The bottom layer is chocolate cake and the top layer is vanilla cake and in the middle there is chocolate ganache and raspberry jam. the icing is white chocolate mixed with color green and the number 4-shaped racing track is a chocolate cookie. The little racing cars are made of royal icing.
