Pink And Brown Baby Shower Cake
This was inspired by a pink and brown cake by tawnyachilders. Thank you tawnya!! It's a 10" square with a gumpaste bow and fondant dots and gift tag with the baby's intial.

How do you get your fondant so perfectly smooth on rectangular cakes w/o the ugly excess on the corners?
I honestly don't know. It was my first square cake to cover with fondant. I was surprised I didn't really have any problems with it. I was a nervous wreck though!
I have the wilton fun with fondant mat that has a grid on it and used a ruler to make sure I kept my lines straight. The loops are six inches long then I closed the ends together.
