First Fondant Cake, 3Rd Class, Made Autum Colors
Im not impressed with fondant, other than it looks nice, and I was so scared of doing this cake. I think it came out pretty good. I didnt want the basic course III cake, so I made my in autum colors. Not to happy with the bows, think I could have done better.
Your bow is great for a first in fondant. Good choice in using the Autumn colors. It fits the season, and gives this design your personal touch.
Thanks! I used gumtex in my fondant, and I also added color, put it in a ziplock and when I cut my bows, I sealed the edges, and put tissue between bows while I worked on the rest of the cake, left tissue on until I got home and removed for picture,...it dried!
