What a beautiful wedding cake. My only wish (and it's more a personal preference here), is that the plates were pushed into each tier so you don't see the legs. But that IS personal preference, not a comment on bad technique. I love the simplicity of it and it's very precise. Neat. Gorgeous. Pat on the back!!!

Thanks all for your encouraging comments! This was my first wedding cake, so it is not perfect, but boy did I learn alot making it! It was for my brother's wedding this summer and they chose the unique color, which I really liked. As for the plate feet...we cut and placed the dowels at home before travelling 3 and a half hours to the wedding. When we got there, the cake had settled some, and the dowels stuck out a bit more than they did to start with. But at least the tiers didn't stick together! :-)
