Buddhist Memorial
Made for a celebration of life memorial for a friend who passed away last month. He was Buddhist and I had to do a search for meaningful symbols. The script is a mantra or prayer of compassion, conch shell spreads the enlightenment of Buddha to the world, golden fish liberation of spirit, white Lotus purity of mind. Gumpaste banner with edible images.

Beautifully done! I'm sure your friend would have been deeply touched. Sorry for your loss. It's obvious that there's a lot of love in that cake!
Thank you. He and his partner had been together for 42 years and he said Allen always loved a "Shirley cake" so he knew he would have loved this one too.
