Princess Cake
I saw a lovely, perfect picture of a cake that Sugarshack made and just had to try my hand at it. My version is not even a tiny bit close to hers. The birthday girl loved it but it is probably close to my worst work. I'm not happy with how it turned out. I had to completely redo the top tier because when I woke up this morning it was leaining so bad there was no way I could show up with it. It was hideous. I had to make due and use the bulging bottom tier. How embarrassing! Oh well. I"ll try it again!
If this is your worst, I gotta see your best!!!
It's adorable!
OMG---Worst?? This is really beautiful. Look at all the faves up there!
If this is your worst work, I better never show my best! Looks good to me!
I think it looks great!
Worst work? You're kidding! It looks terrific. I love the tiara.
beautiful.
how did you do the tiara? it's pretty.
Thank you guys for the nice comments. I'm very critical of my own work so your kind words mean a lot to me. I printed a copy of a tiara template off CC. I cut the shape from gumpaste. When it was dry, I just piped randomly with royal icing. Once that was dry, I painted with nu silver luster dust.
