A friend requested this cake for his daughters 16th birthday. She plays a marimba in her schools marching band. The school colors and green and gold. The keys are made from melted, then molded chocolate, swirled with peanut butter to look more like wooden keys. There are 3 half sheet cakes, torted and stacked on top of each other for the base. The 'bells' in the front are snack rolls. The entire cake is covered in buttercream. Not bad for an instrument I have never seen in person :)
