Cake For My Baby Shower
I had my baby shower and made the cake! The cake took a month to make, the baby is gumpaste, so are all the flowers, man are roses hard! I quilted the bottom, used MMF, then painted the squares, Im glad its over with!!

Thanks!! The way I did the checkering was to first quilt the bottom, then thin out gel coloring w/ vanilla and paint directly on the cake and let it dry!

I always wondered if you had to make a cake for YOU what would it look like....now I know......just as awesome as all the others.........you are totally my cake hero.......I haven't seen even ONE of your cakes that I don't love.....if I ever get good enough I'd like to get some dummies and try to replicate about half of your cakes!!
