Michigan State Ball Cap

Michigan State Ball Cap on Cake Central

Spartan's cap for a neighbor's birthday. He is an alumni and fan of Michigan State. He also coaches T-ball so I thought it would be fitting for him. I followed the instructions from 'confetti cakes' by Elisa Strauss. It was actually pretty easy and fun to make. The hardest part was actually cutting out the 'S' .

Okay, so when are you going to admit that you took a photo of a real hat?!!! You realize that if you don't stop making such perfect cakes we're not going to believe that they're real anymore!!

if you can get your hands on the confetti cakes book that would be helpful! I think making the divits in the hat makes it look more realistic. if you have any specific questions, feel free to pm me!

VERY good job! ;) I love it. Was this picture submitted to amazon? It looks just like the one I saw when I ordered the book today. :)

Dang if that doesn't look just like a hat. I love the shape of the top - I'm going to have to trust you that there's really cake under there somewhere, it falls just like fabric.
