Cast Party Cake, Beauty & The Beast
Following the succesful run of our High School Musical, "Beauty and the Beast", I made this sheet cake for the cast party. I think it was 1/2 yellow cake, 1/2 chocolate cake, with chocolate BC, covered in ganache. The design was freehanded from the cover design, but don't look too close, I can't believe it, but I misspelled "Beauty"! (whoops!)

Yeah, I thought I was SO COOL ... 8) ... I freehanded the whole design, then delivered it to the school. I took pics with my 2 daughters who were in the production and got a lot of nice compliments from various cast members and the choral director. Then, when the kids came home later, they told me about the misspelling. :cry: I didn't believe them until I looked at a closeup on my digital. :oops: Gawd, how embarassing! :x :oops: :cry: But I still like it anyway! :roll:
