Simply Elegant
This cake (6", 10", 14") was two tiers of Banana and one WASC with White Chocolate Buttercream Mousse icing ("The Cake Bible"). The happy couple was so nice to deal with. Two days after the wedding, I got the most wonderful voice mail thanking me for all my efforts, telling me how much they liked it, how thrilled they were with the "midnight snack" box I left on the table for them after cutting (an 8" cake box with 6 slices of cake inside, tied with a tulle bow), and they'll refer me to LOTS of friends!
That is such an elegant cake, no wonder they loved it! What a wonderful idea to leave them a snack box! So thoughtful and a perfect touch to a perfect cake!

"Midnight Snack" is something that I have been doing for my Brides & Grooms for a while now. When I am cutting the cake, I try to put aside 2 pieces of each flavor of cake and put them in an 8" cake box with a few forks and napkins. I put a sticker on top with their names on it {Jim & Karen's Midnight Snack}, tie it with a 6" wide length of illusion into a bow and leave it on the cake table. They are supposed to take it with them so at 3:00 am, when they're hungry, they don't have to scrounge a...
