I love this. I'm doing a similar two tiered cake in a couple of weeks. How do you prevent the hyndrangea stems and leaves from messing up the icing on the cake layer beneath? Mine will be buttercream, not fondant.

Cakeshy--We used the two cake plates, one upside down, and one rightside up, attaching them together with the columns. We used the green florist foam to put in the middle of the pillars. This way, the flowers did not touch the cake. Good luck!
