Is the top tier made of cake, or is it all sugarpaste...and did you use a mold for the topper? It's gorgeaous?

The topper is designed to be made of cake, but the client wanted a dummy to give as a momento to the expectant mom. No particular mold. I found various household items to mold the top and base, then put it all together. Thank you all for your generous comments. You always make me feel so good! :D

That is so beautiful! I have been wanting to make a carousel cake for some time (I have a bunch of carousel animal pictures saved to my computer) - just haven't had the occasion in a while. I really really like the way you have done this one!
