Pink Mini Cupcake Bouquet

Pink Mini Cupcake Bouquet on Cake Central

A first for me. Made it today using WASC w/ International Delight Chocolate Caramel coffee creamer (very good). Frosting is White Chocolate Buttercream. Also very good, but a little overpowering for the cake. Next time I'll make buttercream and add in the Chocolate Caramel.

Thanks. I would have been fun to do if I wasn't rushed (as usual). As it turns out my hubby was worried about the box so I wound up holding it for an hour and 15 minutes for the car ride. The second one we put in the car's cup holder. Only lost one cupcake (as he was parking in front of his parents' house!).

Schmoop, I just used the 1M (2110) tip. You can check out cambo's tutorial on the homepage. These bouquets are not actually her creation (they've been on websites) but since she did hers on here their popularity has taken off, especially for mother's day.

WOW your rosettes are perfect!! I really wish mine would turn out so pretty. I even use the same tip & they don't turn out as nice as yours! lovely job.

YOUR BOUQUET IS REALLY CUTE. IDEA: buy a sheet of corrucated cardboard, use a bone folder to put creases in the cardboard. Fold up the four sides, hold the edges together w/package tape, can buy clear or brown. put a styrofoam block in each corner of the box so when you set the pot in the box, the foam blocks will hold it in place. Set the whole box bottom in a clear bag or wrap like you buy at the dollar store for easter baskets. Gather at the top and tie w/a ribbon

Idea continued: If your box bottom is big enough in diameter the plastic wrap will be far enough to the side to not touch the cupcakes. I have a question for you: How did you use the Intl Delight coffee creamer, in your frosting or cupcake, pls explain. Thank you. Good luck this mother's day.

Melanie, thanks for the idea. If I had had more time I probably would have come up with something more suitable, but as with everything involving my in-laws, it was last minute. Gotta love 'em! :) The coffee creamer was used in the cake in place of the other liquid (water, I believe). I didn't use it in the frosting, but will next time. It will replace the milk or water in the bc. HTH
