Many thanks to multiple bakers here for the inspiration. This is my first stached cake. I can see the imperfections, but everyone loved it.

I really liked this cake when I saw it on multiple people's photos. I had a squirming baby on my hip and could not add the white icing dots to the flowers. Also, when I did the dowels the night before, I cut them to what the cake height was, but no lower. The cake settled, and the dowels stuck up a bit, so the top tier is balancing on 4 dowels ...yikes! I did learn from it, though, and the next one will be better.
