Two Tier Navy And White Cake
I made this cake for a lady who retired from work. Her first name begins with a "J," hence the "J" on the top. Each tier had three layers of cake (top and bottom was white, middle was navy). The cake was frosted with butter cream and covered with fondant. The scroll work was butter cream and I tied a navy ribbon on the bottom of each tier. I am still working on getting a steady hand :)
i think it's beautiful. i love the color
Lovely cake, I am still trying to work up the nerve to trying scrollwork. Nice job!
GORGEOUS - very classic and clean looking!
Thanks for your nice comments! I am just starting out and you are very encouraging!
Your cake is gorgeous, and you also did a great job tying your ribbons
