Little Bird And Flower Cake
OMG!! SOOOOOOOO pretty! NICE WORK!
So much nicer than a sheet cake!! This is gorgeous!! Beautiful floral spray!! Your birds are great!!
absolutely beautiful..so original. I love everything about it and love the way it shines.
wow!! This is sooooooooooooooo beautiful!!!! How did you do the birds??? The shine is sooooooooo pretty!! I love this! Fantastic job! :)
The bodies of the birds were modeled freehand. The freehand feathers were also cut from gumpaste then imprinted with a feather veiner.
WOW!!!!! Wonderful Job!
Thank for all the wonderful comments. FMM Script lettering set available at globalsugarart.com/catalog/index.html
Your cake is beautiful! I have the hardest time getting the fondant out of the lettering set. How did you do it? Those are the same words my son and his bride to be have on their wedding invitations. I'm doing the cake for the rehearsal dinner and would love to put that verse on it.
Used a 50:50 mix of gumpaste, fondant. Roll semi thin in pasta maker. Let dry 10 min. Dust with luster dust or confectionary sugar. Then cut letters. Let sit 10 more min before removing from cutter. Some trial and error involved.
8O Oh my gosh!!! How beautiful!!! I love the shine. I have yet to work with luster dusts. Which kind did you use??? So elegant and lovely.........
it looks beautiful! How did you do the lettering?
