Farm Animal Birthday Cake
This was my first time using marzipan. The barn was a Wilton stand up pan. The silo was a stack of fudge stripe cookies with icing as glue and a dowel in the middle.

Wonderful work! It's too cute to cut up and eat!
I love this cake!If my daughter had this cake she would want to keep all of the animals to play with.
Good thinking on the silo. Very clever!
Congratulations!!! I can't believe it's your first time with marzipan...
great work. the ROCK look real. how did you make the rocks
is the cow in the back (the black-white) also made from marzipan. If so - how did you make it so white?
Yep. I used the Wilton icing whitener stuff in the bottle.
HOLY MOLY! Your animals ROOOOOCCCKKK! The whole cake is just precious! Thanks for sharing! :)

Unbelieveable!!!!!
Very unique and beautifully done.
Okay, how did you get the cows so white and the pink so pink?????
A lot of food color paste!!
First time phooey!!!! Come on, this is too perfect! How long did all this take you?
LOL! Yes, first time, but I had worked with polymer clay in the past. I did a few animals at a time over a few weeks. The marzipan kept really well and didn't try out while I was working on it.
Great because I bought 5 lbs of marzipan on ebay and have it vacuumed sealed in my fridge. I want to start working with it. You have given me inspiration.
:D That's exactly what I did....5 pounds off Ebay. I barely used a pound.
This is absolutely precious...I love it!
this looks fantastic! i did one of these recently but with more of a rustic look. this looks darling!!! love it
