Considered old-fashion in this day&age this type of setup was very vogue some 20-30 yrs ago There are three 14” rounds, three 8” rounds, two 9” hearts, one 6” heart & a “mini tier” consisting of single layers 9,7,5” All buttercream including the roses

Yah the style does go back -- W A Y back LOL    Don't remember exactly when I made this but I think it was in the late '80s - maybe mid '90s

Beautiful cake and a lot of it and a lot of work. I remember those good all days, just wish I had pictures of all the ones I made like that.

Just LOVEEEEE the old skool American style. I'm a 22 year old wedding cake baker who lives in the Netherlands and I enjoy making these kind of cakes soooo much. Most Turkish en gipsy people still really love this that's why I get to make them most of the time. And some elderly bride and grooms also lol. I have all the old school stuf from eBay
