I made this cake for Nikola, my dear son in law, vegetarian and lover of natural. Vegetables are made with gum paste. Somewhere I put styrofoam balls coated with gum paste reduce weight. For glossy vegetables I used glucose with vodka. The wood crate is made with fondant with the addition of CMC. The cake is gluten free (milled almonds, chocolate, eggs), and the cream is made from chocolate with mascarpone.
