This is beautiful! You say ganache but I think I'm seeing chocolate fondant. Your borders, flowers, squiggles and all aspects of your bow topper look great! I'm not looking for negatives by any means but the candy stripe candles don't fit. Beautiful work on this one lady! You can be mighty proud of this one! Wow.

Hi CarolAnn.  The top brown part is chocolate ganache that I sprayed with PME Lustre spray.  The bottom violet part is fondant, as is the top bow. Yeah those swirly candles were kind of a "oh no, I forgot to buy candles but here's these!" addition.  They DO look right on the tree trunk cake I did for my colleague at work, Nate.  As for the bow, it was incredibly time consuming because I wanted dots on them!  Cutting those out then individually applying on the strips took some time.
