This is a boozy fruit cake made for the World Earth Day Collaboration, Acts of Green. The outer coating of peeling wood is royal icing. Everything hand carved and painted. I was inspired by the work of digital artist Robert Adelman who kindly gave me permission to use his work for this piece.
