Every cake has a story,most of the time im too busy to type it out but this one id love to share…7 months to this date i sat infront of this cake with my heart full of prayers and promises to God. Holding on to a piping bag,trying so hard to push away my tears and add on dot at a time..my mum was in hospital fighting a painful battle with cancer.Around 3am , i’ve just stacked the top tier ,im mentally pushing myself to complete it asap so i could leave to go back to hospital i get the dreaded call.Bitter sweet as i was relieved that she was hurting no more.Her strenght in life amazed me..i wish i could be half the women she was! My mum was so proud of my work..always asked to see what new i did.In hospital..lying in pain..she turns to me and asked me to show my aunty my work.Yep i knw she was proud of me..Miss you mum ,its unbearable
