My nephew Simon really likes the planets and he requested Jupiter with the red eye. After studying photos of Jupiter I decided to use the ball cake pan, cover it in fondant and then paint the gasses of Jupiter with food color gel and vodka. I also used a little luster dust to make it sparkle. For fun I added a purple alien and a telescope to show Simon's age. Glad to say the birthday boy recognized the cake as Jupiter!
