Cake Central Magazine - Cover Cake

It is with great joy, pride and pleasure that I share with you this happy news. On July 11th, it was with great surprise that I was invited to carry out a project for the prestigious American Cake Design Magazine - Cake Central Magazine. Emotions dominated me and I decided to embrace this challenge grid a tight deadline. I advanced, faced the challenge and delivered the project. After a while, I received the news that had passed the initial selection stage and soon after the immense surprise of seeing my cake as magazine cover. It is difficult to convey to you the emotions I felt, but I can summarize them as joy and pure gratitude. To realize this project counted with the collaboration and full availability of my friend Mónica Barros Antonio (Memórias de um Sorriso), to carry out the beautiful photos with the beautiful Madeira Island as a backdrop. I will be eternally grateful for having been with me at this important time of my journey. The cover photo (neutral background) is my own. I counted also with the help of my friend Jorge Martins (Martins & Martins), to get some tips on the confection of sugar crystals. I'm so grateful, my friend! The family help was also an asset these days. Grateful! For this beautiful scenery, I counted on the collaboration of Quinta do Lorde - Resort, Marina & Hotel, to whom I am also grateful!
