Lovely cake! What did you use to for your drip and also what did you use to paint it gold? I've tried chocolate ganache and pairing it with a combination of gold lustre and vodka and it definitely didn't come out as perfect as this! It come out quite streaky! :(
Thank you! It actually WAS white chocolate ganache painted with gold luster dust and vodka! But it was not easy. I had to put several "coats" on and refrigerate it frequently because the ganache would get soft and hard to paint. I have seen some people make the drip with royal icing. I haven't tried that, but I would like to.
