Disney Characters Cake For My Great-Granddaughter's First Birthday 2016

Bottom rectangle is vanilla cake. Top rounds used for "Hidden Mickey" are chocolate orange cake. All decorated with vanilla buttercream except the mermaid tail and the "splash" were both made with marshmallow fondant.

Thank you Apti! I love doing cakes like this. But I can't take credit for Ariel. I have seen many cakes online showing her diving into the center like that. I've always wanted to have the opportunity to add it to one of mine. It worked out great for this birthday party since the mother's name is Ariel & she is of course a big fan! :)
