This is a photo of my wedding cake. Bottom layer is fruit cake, with fondant icing, covered in hand painted flowers. The top layer is a cherry and marzipan sponge, filled with almond butter cream, covered in fondant and then gold leaf. I also made the peonies- which was the easy part ;).
