My daughter LOVES mermaids. This cake was special for me to make for her and I know she is going to love it. I made the mermaid and seashells out of fondant with the help of some youtube tutorials. I make a layered butter cake with cholocate frosting in the middle. Then covered the cake with vanilla buttercream making an ocean/wave effect. Topped with brown sugar for sand and some pearls.
