I made this cake for a co-worker as he is a big Star Wars fans. I wanted to do something different rather than a "typical" Star Wars cake. I saw a Warhol inspired poster online & decided to use it as my inspiration. I haven't seen any other cakes like it so maybe I have an original?

The cake is vanilla bean cake with strawberry buttercream covered in fondant with fondant details. The storm troopers were created by using edible marker on colored fondant.

The text is meant to resemble the opening credits of the Star Wars movie although the largest text does not match the two smaller ones :-( because I didn't have a mold with three different matching fonts.
