Chandelier Cake
this cake is one of my all time favorites! When creating a chandelier cake there are a lot of structural things you have to keep in mind. There are different things you can buy to help the process. I'm lucky in the way that myself and my husband are pretty thrifty. the way I did this cake was I decorated the tiers separately as you would a normal cake. they were placed on plates that were slightly smaller than the cake in example the 10" was on an 8" plate just so you couldnt see the plate. Then there is an internal structure that holds the cake to give the allusion of a chandelier.
beautiful. Where did you get your stand? I have been looking everywhere and can find the stand? It is the only thing stopping me from doing a hanging cake.

Plastec is the name of the manufacturer that makes the larger ones.
The stand I used is just a hanging plant stand. I believe I ordered it from Kmart.
