I made this cake for my grandson's christening, which took place in New Jersey USA 4th January 2015. Triple layer vanilla cake with vanilla bean butter cream filling. Baby, Celtic Cross and plaque, teddies and Holy Trinity knots are made from gum paste. I used a mould for baby blanket, and a ribbed effect rolling pin for the fringe around the edges. I was pleased with the way the cake turned out...having travelled from Ireland for baby Seamus's very special day!
