This is a biggie for my future daughter-in-law, Megan. The 3. & 0. Birthday!! Since its a week before Christmas, thought I’d keep the cake festive. Bottom is pecan caramel cake, with chopped pecans added and caramel buttercream icing. Icing is swirled to represent snow, with silver & white sanding sugar and silver dragees. Top is a styrofoam dummy with gumpaste Santa with his sack…the chimney….to slide down of course, and Snowgirl Megan holding a Christmas gift, with more gifts in front of her. Gingerbread men standing guard around the cake. Little mounds of bc snow also dusted with silver & white sanding sugar. This was fun to make. I hope Megan approves of her “likeness”. ❤️
