A family friend recently lost a loved one. Today, they had a party in celebration of her life. It was an honor for me to make this for them. Each tier is a reflection of things she loved: Sunflowers, margaritas, the beach, camping in the mountains, and the color purple. Each petal on the large sunflowers were individually handcrafted and painted. The middle tier is a hand painted scenery of the Appalachian mountains. The top tier is decorated with crumb "sand" and chocolate seashells.
