Mother In Law Birthday Cake

Mother In Law Birthday Cake on Cake Central

Even though I am new at decorating, I really wanted this one to turn out because it was for my Mother in Law. I started putting on the roses and before I knew it, I had a rose garden :o) It wasn't perfect by no means but I think she liked it.

I love blue and yellow. You got just the right shade of each to complement each other. Beautiful.

I love all of your cakes! I'm gonna try to make this one--what Wilton colors did you use? They look great together!

Thanks so much cake100. For the roses, I used Wilton's Lemon yellow and Violet. The picture shows the roses to be blue but they were actually violet.
