These winter cakes are all luscious fruit cakes covered first with marzipan, and then with fondant! I hope that you all like their decor. I tried to represent winter with frozen twigs, leaves and flowers. These were hand molded with fondant and then they were spray-painted with a silver luster dust finish (all edible of course). Pieces of clear rock candy were randomly placed around the twigs to simulate ice, and a few hand painted snowflakes completed the whole decor.
