I made this cake for my husband's birthday. This is a double cake that was crumb coated with ganache. Both cakes are three layer cakes with a white chocolate butter cake and a dark chocolate genoise in the middle. The filling is a swiss meringue buttercream with sprinkles of toasted hazelnuts and candied orange zest. The cake was airbrushed in gold, and the diamonds where done with modeling chocolate.
